A Step Book

This is a sample of a book, I made for a dear friend. I used , Kraft paper bags size #3, chip board for cover and back of book, Tim Holt's die cuts, distress inks, stamp Hero Arts, bind it all, Basil solid colour paper Bitter Sweet, and pattern paper , Fairy Flora Collection "Pixie Garden".

Baby Shoes

I had fun making these baby shoes. I got the template from a friend...
I gave these booties to a friend who had a beautiful baby girl.

Canine Friends

This card I made for my Mom and Dad, last Wed. was their 48th anniversary...I crop the picture and altered the colour. I used shimmer card stock, su corner punch, cuttlebug , scallop oval,regular oval nestabilities, clear stamp, swirles and stazon ink (brown).
It was a great celebation..

Pic's taken a day later of snow storm

Just wanted to share a couple of pic's of our second snow storm. There was a lot of snow to shovel on Sat.... My arms and back are still feeling it, but the kids and the dogs are loving it... The power was out all around us, we were lucky this time... Some of the drifts were pretty high... The first snow fall was on Nov 19th not a whole lot of snow but enough to cause bad travel conditions....I don't mind the snow once it's down .I like to cross country ski when I get the chance to do it...I love the sun beaming on the trees they have lots of bling...

Thanksgiving Weekend

I had a great Thanksgiving weekend, My sister cooked the Thanksgiving dinner , and all the family was there... It was a nice time....The weather was awesome... I even baked my first pumpkin pie...During the past week I was experimenting on pumpkin tarts, the kids just love them ..so I decided to try the pie..I am not usually a baker .... Since my Niece moved in with me .. I have been doing more cooking and baking... I have to say it's not really my thing....
